MR223A1 questions

You can use any lower, but there's only a handful of triggers that work properly with the HK416 upper.

Any Combat/Milspec standard trigger is suppose to work fine with it! If you want a special trigger either get a HK or Gieselle 416 specific trigger.

if you read page 4, Tactical imports said they could get a custom length ordered. But thanks for sharing the obvious.

You're welcome for sharing the obvious. I'm not sure what the costs for a custom length would be, but I imagine the total would run you closer to $5k for the non-HK barrel. And if this is what you truly want, then you should definitely take Tactical Imports up on it. :D

Yeah but at 5K you might as well save a bit more and then import a 416 upper with the 10.5 then.

It's funny how in HK world 100s=1000s

Then again if we could just easily import from the US we would be closer to what they go for there.

I don't know if having a HK416 upper is what you want and the be all end all gun, then get it. That being said I own both and if I was tight on money I would be looking at a KAC 11.5 or a Noveske and getting an older MR223 to save a grand.

Remember there is optics too and getting a lower with compatible trigger for the HK is a cost factor as well. But back on KAC....they get some of the best Barrels in the world from the Colt Canada factory so you are getting something better than the CF considering you get all the other things that come with an SR15 of whatever length and you are not paying nearly the premium you would be for the 416 upper. The HK is more of a collectors gun anyway. It's a tough call the best answer is to get them all.;):D

Well looks like Tactical Import can bring them in, but then need at least one more person interested (The A1 version) for 36/3700$ buxish.

Im waiting for another person to send them an email so they can order a few.
