A GOOD thing about being a gunnut in Toronto- owner of a brand new Colt MT6700...

Would they mail across the border?

I don't think so- but maybe contact them; there are some companies that would use brokerages, etc, because there are the customs issues to deal with. With Gun Center you're basically dealing with the customs issues yourself- they leave your firearm at the border, since (if I understand correctly) you can't legally take physical possession of it in the U.S.

discusses some of the issues and mentions some companies that will help do a cross border sale, including site sponsor Questar!

I'm curious if there's a gun store in Washington that would do this sort of thing. That honestly sounds almost easier than importing a car other than I can transport my own new car to the border myself.

Borderview does that out of Washington state. I believe their border delivery price is even better. I'm not in BC, but they are currently my best candidate for importing some things and then sending them by mail on to me.

Yup! I've dealt with BGC & would do so again! They make the paperwork easy! Did u know the driver is the owner of BCG? I had a great chat with him waiting on Canada Customs, who by the way, acted like importing a gun was commonplace... How refreshing is that!!!

Cheers

Actually, I could believe it! Not sure how many 'regular' folks use a supercharged Range Rover for deliveries... I'd just assumed he was a bored older guy doing this to get out of the house!
