Chris Costa Action Figure

First... what makes you think misanthropist is actually a dude... ;)

And second my problem isn't with some dude making cash in his trade.

My problem is when people start idolizing some dude like he is a god (not IS GOD like som read)... I liked his facebook page because he releases some good products and posts some good info, but the amount of 'man groupees' he has is just sickening.

Is he good at what he does? yes. Does he deserve some doll of himself... sure go for it. The thing I dont understand is all the kids posting things like if they own the doll (action figure) that makes them better somehow or something.

I find it weird that anybody plays with dolls/action figures... but that's just my opinion of said people.

But dont let me rain on your parade... go ahead and play with your doll of some dude...

Just sayin.

You don't play with them.........They are not toys........Most 1/6th scale stuff is made of historical figures(Gen Patton) etc etc A lot of you guys are pretty thick and ridiculously ignorant...It's not really a big deal...

You are certainly welcome to your opinion on the matter. However I would suggest that in general, if you went up to the average attractive single woman and said, "I like to buy dolls of other men, like army guys and coast guard guys and stuff, and pose them in cabinets...cool right?" you would find that in general - I'm speaking in generalities here, obviously there will be some exceptions - but in general, the percentage that swoon and start trying to feel your bicep is not going to be super high.


Naturally I could be wrong.





Obviously I'm not, though.

Well, thanks to the interweb we can buy online without facing any criticism or being ridiculed :) People used to say the same thing about pink shirts... now many many many guys wear them. Times change - and I like male dolls and pink shirts ;) lol

Actually most Women are very turned away from guns mostly due to brainwashing, having historical miniatures actually get a lot of praise.......That's my experience...Obviously they are not made for open display in many circumstances when having guests over if they are WW2 and German era.people jump to conclusions like you.........
 
Yeah...most women I encounter are pretty cool with me and guns...but then I don't come off like the comic book guy from the Simpsons, who is the only male archetype I can think of in popular culture that would be in to buying "action figures" and posing them in cabinets. Possibly Dwight from the Office. I don't watch a lot of TV though.

Again you are 100% free to do this but I feel equally free to judge any guy out there doing this. I am totally comfortable with the conclusions I am jumping to here.

Tought it was a photo of Costa in the middle and two other soldiers. Certainly not funny if the other two were killed. I'll go back and edit my joke out - would you mind pulling it out of my quote?

Not at all. Just keep in-mind that all you get with my action figure are the rifles, accessories and empty shooting bench. "blaxsun" sold separately. ;)

$140?! Is the released MSRP...? I could buy a whole set of Magpul Dynamics Blu-Rays for that (if I didn't already have them... :redface:).

I know, $140! (on costa ludas website). I did however buy a few shirts and a couple hats from Costa. Maybe it's his beard..... would love to grow a beard like that.

Don't worry, we'll think of something really cool for your action figure.
