Hello all,

A couple of weeks back Dlask Arms was advertising selling of a couple M14's. I contacted them as I thought it was a good deal and secured one of the rifles. When I got it i checked it all out. First was a saftey check. #### it saftey on, no fire. Safety off, fire. Hold down trigger, #### it, release... no fire the trigger had already fallen . So I stripped it right down and found out it needed more tension on the trigger group. Was fixed easy with this chassis. Next I looked at the op rod guide, it was loose so I peened the barrel and re-installed just like Hungry showed (did I mention it also came with a Nm guide rod!). Next the gas cylinder was loose, easily fixed by flipping the lock. Finally I had to fill in a part of the chassis with JB weld so the guide rod pin would not slide out. Did that by making a "dam" out of cardboard and filling. Good Saturday project then it was off to the range.

Here is the picture they posted.

All and all I'm pretty pleased with the gun it is heavy but will probably be more comfortable to carry with a good two point adjustable sling. Hope slay some yotes!

So is the TROY SASS chassis that you and I have! Did you have to rethread the barrel for the flash hidder?
