Looking for a .303 British multi caliber chamber adapter to .32 cal. Not interested in sourcing one from the USA unless they will hand over the goods without dicking around.

Actually I would much prefer getting one from the USA, but if I have to pay through the nose for a European one, I guess I will.

Why not approach a local gunsmith and have him build you one, out of proper steel???

They aren't difficult to manufacture and don't require a lot of time to set up. They can easily be manufactured out of a barrel stub.

Tiriag, a mod on this site has the capabilities to do this for you as do many others here. This used to be a common conversion. Sadly it has become a relic from the past. Most new shooter cry heresy if you even suggest this to them.

The folks that really partake of such practises are antique rifle shooters, like an adapter for the 577-450 to 45 long colt.

Give Del Selin's at 250-545-6413 in Vernon BC a call. He is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9-5 pst. He is also a paying advertizer on this site. If he doesn't have one in stock, he will make one up for you.

Thanks, if he does not want a 500 percent markup, he might get some business from me.

I am liking the USA less and less every day.

Not sure how well a .45colt to .577/450 adapter would work unless you used hollow based lead bullets and black powder - as far as I know, .45Colt is today usually .452 and the .577/450 is around .468 or so, but I never seen how they work, much less shot a big bore martini.

They work just fine at closer ranges and as you say, especially with Mini style, hollow based bullets.

I saw one fellow that had made one up to shoot the .410x2.

Try the site sponsor, Elwood Epps, up top. I just got a 7.62X54r adaptor for 7.62X25 from them for about $28.00 I think. They may have others or canget you what you need. I can't wait to try it out of a Mosin!!

I have a Hammond Game Getter in 303 BR. It doesn't always shoot due to the fact that the firing pin doesn't hit right on the rim. Still it works most of the time and if it misfires while shooting at grouse it is no big deal. I also have the 32 addapter which real works well. If you want an addapter for 303 to 7.62x25 I have that I will sell or trade, never used so I can't say how well it works.

There is a youtube user, northerninventor or something like that is his username, he did a review of the .32 miscellaneous adapter and apparently it split the .32 S&W long cases he was using right off the bat. 7.62X25 would be interesting but there is a tradeoff again there. Thanks for the kind offer. Might try making one. The Hammond has a stainless insert into a regular shell casing apparnently. Tradeoffs, tradeoffs, tradeoffs.

Yup, it is unfortunate that you can't reload the .32 S&W brass after shooting through the addapter (sorry I forgot to mention that). I found the accuracy to be good though.

George, aka Polar_Hunter, aka NorthernInventor,,, LOL
