Can kits for the ruger 10/22 such as the krinker plinker and tommy gun be imported from the USA? cost is about $400 before taxes shiping etc.

Yes, they can be imported into Canada.

Gun parts are regulated for export from the US. Only licenced exporters - US businesses can do this. Because of the value of these kits, a specific export permit will be needed for the kit you want.
Contact a licenced US exporting business.

One other thing, the manufacturer also has to have an export permit, not just the exporter. This is important, because some of the kits are made by small companies, who might feel the $2,750 cost per year isn't worth it if they aren't exporting hundreds of kits a year.

Not even sure who the manufacturer is, i will have to do much more reserch obviously, but am learning some new stuff at least lol!

Just sent an email to irunguns about parts and accessories, asking if their business is limited to firearms and optics. I've seen the word misc. items so hopefully they do.

Really want a T22 kit now. lol

Its about purchasing the thing while in the States, and illegally exporting it from the US yourself.
Get caught playing that game, and you will lose the item, could be prosecuted, could be barred from entering the US for 5 years, and could be put on the no fly list, which means that you cannot even get on a plane flying through US airspace.

Sorry for any missunderstanding i assumed he was refering to bringing it back al though i did not know this was ilegale just that i own my own business and so am on call 24/7
