Thank You Wolverine it's been great dealing with you!

Your an ass :p I'm still waiting for my latest S&B purchase but they are amazing scopes ! As Canuck said you will be ruined for any other glass ! I know I was haha oh well they are worth the coin!

Just curious how long was your wait? I'm at around 5 months for this one iirc , my others came in around 8

Sounds like the S&B 2012 price increases are not affecting their sales if Wolverine cannot keep up stock?

wolverine almost always has stock of S&B of one kind or another, but some modles take a bit of waiting to get. IIRC last year S&B got huge MULTI million dollar contact with the US forces, somethin rediculous like 100 000 scopes over a 5 year perios or somthing like that, so they are obligated to fill the (i assume monthly) quota of that contract befor making and selling individul scopes

Once again, thats just what i re member reading, so my numbers could be way off, all i remember was it was an insane contract finacially

hmm found the artical

Schmidt & Bender receives contract for the US Military Precision Sniper Rifle Program

With the $34,209,500 USD, PSR (Precision Sniper Rifle) tender Schmidt & Bender received the most important precision sniper scope contract the US military forces awarded in the last few years. In future, Schmidt & Bender will be supplying its 5-25x56 PMII scope in the special PSR version to Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Special Forces for existing and future sniper rifles.

The precision sniper rifle scope is used all over the world under widely varying and delicate environmental conditions: under water, near coastlines, in arctic surroundings, in the jungle and last, but not least, in urban warfare.

This is another milestone in the history of the rather traditional Schmidt & Bender family business which continuously pursues its successful business course in the US. Following the major success of the 3-12x50 PM II model which, after two years of comprehensive testing by the US Marines, won the competition against 25 rival scopes and the resulting service contract awarded by the Marines, this is already the company’s third big success story.

The positive impact of this success for Schmidt & Bender will not only be limited to the US Military who is renowned for its rather tough testing procedures, but also extends to military and police forces all over the world, since all tests and decisions by US military authorities receive a lot of attention around the globe. This success will also have a positive effect on the hunting and sports shooting market. All Schmidt & Bender products for hunting and sports shooting as well as the products for all military applications are manufactured and tested in accordance with the same high military quality standards. There will hardly be any higher proof of quality for Schmidt & Bender hunting products than this success!

do you hit up smithers? just before naramata i believe.
if you have not gotten your buck yet, i will be in pen around next week and we might plan something for fun!

i'm going up behind naramata tomorrow in hopes for a immy or wt buck. this season had been a bust because my gf booked a trip to jamaica and i had to pay for it with sidejobs. meaning i worked many weekends throughout the season.

ouch! same here. i've been working overtime and have not been out yet.
i will be hitting up the hills many times starting next week.. if i can't, i will just be going bow hunting in december!
