Well, yes. I almost had my hand opened up after having the gun slip on me while holding it with one hand and the barrel facing up. The leading edges of the sight have sharp edges (at least on mine) that I will eventually have filed down. Normally not a concern, just something I noticed.
Having said that, it is a very nice barrel, albeit quite heavy. I did have to file down my forend a bit for fit, but not too much.

Dlask Barrel just arrived!
Dlask 14" on the right with a Remi 20" rifled barrel on the left. You can see the contour is slightly thicker for a ways longer before thinning out.
The rifle sight. Looks good, didn't notice any sharp edges.
Installed on my 870 Express Magnum. Its tight, but it will fit and cycle. I'm going to replace the wood with a synthetic stock set-up and the forend will likely need a light sanding, but no heavy work here. The quality is really good, as expected.
On the subject of weight: the 20" rifled deer barrel is 911 grams, the Dlask 14" barrel is 691 grams.
So the Dlask 14" is well made, lighter than a 20" rifled barrel, shorter and therefore easier to handle in the bush, and (with a light sanding of the forend) fits well. Overall I'm very satisfied with the barrel. Range report to follow.
One question. Will a 2 shot extension fit flush with the barrel end or is it too long?

That one has been threaded for remchokes and actually include a choke too, no clue what it is at this time tho...
Fits like a glove, function just perfect, as you can see I have no forend still so we'll see if it needs fitting once it gets here.

Don't know. I want to pack it in a scabbard in the bush so I want it stripped down and clean. I hope it works without the need for a rear sight.

Oh ya, no park inside the barrel. Giggidy giggidy!
The front site is actually a pedestal base and blunt blade. This height is required on the short barrels to get them to shoot to point of impact without a rear sight...just sighting down the receiver like using a bead.
The shorter barrels ~ 14 and 12inchers will shoot way high without a 1/4in pedestal or so under a bead or blade. If you use a rear site on a short barrel you need a reallt tall front blade like nearly 3/4in or so.
Even a 18in barrel needs a pedestal under the bead to shoot POI...that's why the oem Remmy barrels are like that.
The Dlask front blade setup looks NICE....
