I just shipped off my 870 lefty for a 14 incher.
Really, for LH 870's, there's not much other choice in canuckistan...

Yes, well your Dlask barrel sight may be capable of slicing a hand open, but do you have the evidence that it has ever done so? Seriously though, I can hardly wait to see how my fits and works.
Scarab is a line of offshore boats made by Wellcraft.
Can anyone post a picture of what they look like? Might be worth while doing one as a project..............
Dlask Barrel just arrived!

Dlask 14" on the bottom with a Remi 20" rifled barrel ontop. You can see the contour is slightly thicker for a ways longer than the Remi rifled barrel.

The rifle sight. Looks good, didn't notice any sharp edges.

Installed on my 870 Express Magnum. Its tight, but it will fit and cycle. I'm going to replace the wood with a synthetic stock set-up and the forend will likely need a light sanding, but no heavy work here. The quality is really good, as expected.
On the subject of weight: the 20" rifled deer barrel is 911 grams, the Dlask 14" barrel is 691 grams.
So the Dlask 14" is well made, lighter than a 20" rifled barrel, shorter and therefore easier to handle in the bush, and (with a light sanding of the forend) fits well. Overall I'm very satisfied with the barrel. Range report to follow.
One question. Will a 2 shot extension fit flush with the barrel end or is it too long?
Thanks

Is some kind of ghost ring site needed or just the post on the fron of the barrel?
Actually according to this thread, it's called scarab..... I want to pack it in a scabbard ......
Don't know. I want to pack it in a scabbard in the bush so I want it stripped down and clean. I hope it works without the need for a rear sight.
So no rear site?
So no rear site?
