The FN AR is the closest you'll get, but it's 2k. I hear on the american forums that they are very accurate riffles though

From Battlerife " A lot of people believe this, but there is no truth to it. It is internet speculation / urban myth that needs to DIE."
I am going to have to disagree with you on that ....I carried one for 8.5 years in the CAF.
Bought one of the Ishapores from S.I.R but regretfully sold it before the classification change.

Hey, got a match, buddy?
Oh, get over yourselves already. Anybody who ever handled the myriad surplus FALs in this country knows how to jam the sear, and you didn't need to spend even 8.5 days in the forces to learn it. That doesn't change the fact that this had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the guns classification as prohibited.
Hmmm, and a C2 mag!
In the 60's when I was in the army our basic armament was the FN C1 rifle. I am curious whether these were ever available as surplus and whether they would be restricted or prohibited. If they are available I assume the pinned mag rule would apply.
. Very few people got there rifle because you had to be issused it and request it after your done service.
MY Grandfather had the rifle because he had to request it once he was done service but because it was a brand new rifle they didn't want to give it to him. It took him 6 months of fighting to get his rifle he just wouldn't go away. They offered him rifles off the back of the truck because they didn't want to give him a C2 He said no I want my rifle and he got it. Then when he passed away it went to his regimental museum because the CFO wouldn't allow me to have it even when they transferred it into my name and refused to let me keep it I wasn't old enough for a firearms license even though they gave me 1 to transfer the rifle over to the museum. I said no since it was my Grandfathers last request he had so much hassle getting the firearm and keeping it 100 percent legally he wanted me to make them squirm a little.
