Ruger Mini 14 question

From the manual:

AMMUNITION
The RUGER® MINI-14® RANCH RIFLES are chambered for the .223
Remington (5.56mm) cartridge. The Mini-14 Ranch Rifle is designed to use either
standardized U.S. military, or factory loaded sporting .223 (5.56mm) cartridges
manufactured in accordance with U.S. industry practice.

I took a spin on there website and couldn't find a listing for one in 6.8. The 222 one from back in the day, but not 6.8. Even in the distributots exclusives. ?

They are one and the same except for the headstamp (cartridges of the world)

Cases are identical, but chamber dimensions are not. The SAAMI .223 chamber has a shorter throat than 5.56 NATO.
