That barrel was a heck of a lot harder to torque down than I was told it would be, but it's always better when you have to work for it.

Yea I noticed that too! The Brownell's guy made it look so easy. But I really had to work to get it to align that last little bit
Which Block did you use to hold it in the vise?? Using that Magwell block is Not the greatest...
I could see why someone would have issues.You notice Brownells uses a block that encapsulates the entire receiver.
I used the DPMS upper receiver block.
Both of these work great.
i would never use a Magwell block to install a barrel. Just saying

Oh, that block is just for displaying the finished product, I used the Brownells upper vice block and it's insert to install the barrel.

I used the same block the Brownell's guy used... I actually got their kit, it's pretty handy. Yea I don't the the mag well block would be too advisable either, I would image you could probably damage your lower
