It appears that the Paul Switzer Auction on Oct. 20th has a lot of Prohib class weapons in it this time. I noticed Bren's, Lewis guns, Browning M2's, Sterling MK4, etc. Wish I was grandfathered! Lots of milsurp bits & pieces too. http://www.switzersauction.com/October_20th.htm

WE HAVE JUST BEEN NOTIFIED THAT THE REGISTRY ARE UNABLE TO COMPLETE THEIR INSPECTION OF THE 12-3 CONVERTED AUTO'S PRIOR TO THE SALE SO WE WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO OFFER THEM TO THE PUBLIC AS DE-ACTIVATED AT THE TIME OF SALE.

What's up with that!

CFO or Switzer's forcing that?

I hope that someone that goes will post the realized prices from that list of firearms. There are some really great pieces that I wish I could afford, but would also love to know what they went for.

I was disappointed by the SP1's condition, especially given what it sold for. The 1T series Inglis HP went for $1100 plus tax and buyers premium which I think is a good buy.

To whoever bought the Chinese contract Inglis for $2400, you're welcome, because had I not piped up while looking at the nazi marked hi power, you would have only got one of the matching mags, as the second mag was in the nazi HP.

Was anyone else amazed by the Clint Eastwood looking old dude who dropped more than my year's salary on full autos? Haha

Great auction, it was totally worth the trip. A lot of you will be very jealous of what my friend who I went with bought, but I'll let Steve post it for himself.....

I had a great laugh at the absentee bidder that dropped $700.00 on three 1911 mag pouches and 6 1911 mags...

Ha, me too! I took a detailed look threw all those mag pouches and there was only one half decent two-tone mag, a couple rough WWII mags, and the rest were pretty brutal!!

For the Bren mags they wanted people to buy the mags and the box they came in separately, they couldn't just sell the mags and original boxes they came in as the same lot? That was VERY lame. And was nobody aware that Marstar sells these boxes of Bren mags dirt cheap anyway? That was interesting.

Yeah... deep pockets needed to shop there. :(

With many of the items at this auction, it's not a big surprise Collectors Source bought almost all the MG and related very rare items, I'm sure they know no matter what it costs them at the auction, they are rare enough that after marking them up and making a profit they will still sell. It's not like any of these things are available elsewhere.
