well, the issue is, ive got the EOTech, Aimpoint, surefire and L3 insight weapons light and they are all brand new, and trying to decide which of them will find they're new home on the Tavor, and ill end up selling in EE what i wont use on the Tavor..

I'm going to go with door #3: strip the removable BUIS, light and mount a 1-4x optic on it (something like a Nightforce, Trijicon, Elcan Spectre or ACOG). The full-length rail really lends itself to a larger optic, and since it's non-restricted - might as well take advantage of that.

I'm a big fan of 1-4 scopes (or the 1-6 showing up at my door tomorrow! eee!)

But if I had to choose from what you've got there, I'd say the Eotech and the L3 light are a good combo. You're getting pretty high over the bore with the aim-point I feel. And with red-dots doing close-range-fun-times you want to keep that low like the eotech does.

Good looking system though!

Well I personally use the aimpoint pro and a surefire on my Tavor and it has served me well. Ps the battery life is way better with aimpoint. Not saying the do tech isn't a good optic but the battery life is a important factor for me.

I refuse to comment based solely on what “looks” better… what functions better for you?

As per the OP and I quote "Both work equally great, but im interested in some outside perspective in the "looks" department."

Now that we know they both function equally great for him, why even bother commenting that you'll not comment based on what looks better, when that's exactly what they OP wanted, never minding the fact that both functions equally.....Great?

Curious minds wanna know.

I think it is pretty clear that an Eotech and an Aimpoint are not the same thing, they booth have pros and cons in terms of functionality… I also think it is asinine to ask CGN what we think looks better on a firearm, looks are subjective and should be a personal choice if that is what you are going for… I figured if I commented to this affect the OP may take more consideration into function over fashion… but, he didn’t solicit this advice, so I figured a big explanation was unnecessary, I figured a short rhetorical comment was more in order…

I would hate to think the OP sells one based off of looks only to realize he would have preferred the function of it...

Anyhow, I degress, I didn’t realize this was your thread…

Stylish people shoot the Tavor. I don't see any problem with that ;)

To all those who gave their imput on the actual question i asked, thank you.
To all those who chose to give their negative criticism regarding my "looks" question, in that the way i posed it, thanks, but i wasnt and still am not looking, or asking for your negative comments on the way i posted my question... If you dont like my original question, then move on to another thread. I dont need or want your opinion on the subject.
Thanks.
