OH BOY! I Can feel the heat already. :ninja:

This isn't really a VS thread. Im Just Curious to see who has the better workmanship between said manufacturers, for all i know they may all be coming from the same factory. I have a feeling this is just nit picking kinda like Chines vs Russian Vs Yugo SKS but are their subtle differences between the 3 Manufacturers? Would you recommend one over the other? do they all take the same Mag? are they all equally as reliable? Which is more authentic? Are these all new or are they refurbs? I Know very little about these rifles and would like to know more! Educate me!

The OP means:

FSN-01 vs CZ858 vs CSA VZ58 (these are 3 different companies making the same model rifle, a czech designed VZ58). To save you some time, the CSA is supposed to have the best fit/finish and some upgrades over the other 2. But, let the Red Rifle experts fight it out :rolleyes:
 
Thanks Bfiles for your reply, Yes, I have been threw the post and stickies. Lots of great information but I was looking for more then that, more along the line of personal experience with all 3 different Brands. What was in that sticky was more on the lines of Tech Specs, which are by all means useful but don't really give me an opinion which is more what I was looking for. My bad, I should have clarified. I even Scrolled the entire VZ 58 #### section which is what led me to post this silly request/ Question, ###y guns they be and I want one! But if im going to spend the cash I want to know more then just a glimpse at the technical data and want to know why "X" is better then "Y" and "Z" from someone who has experience with this family of guns. I think a Poll may be in order.

I choose 858 but really should have put to small differences to matter.

They all take the same mag, they are all the same guns except for minor things like finishes, some internal parts (which dont really matter too much), chromed lined or non chrome lined bores, fsn is the onoly one with S/S gas block, uhmmmm
 
i've seen and tried all 3 of them, Havnt noticed any difference other then Finish.. CSA is black, CZ-858 is grayish blue, and the FSN is purple (weird..), Also CSA seems to have less machine marks on the receiver then 858,

And another thing, im not 100% sure, but i heard that CSA uses newly manufactured receivers, and 858 uses old surplus ones... im sure experts will clarify this..
 
I am curious too, which one is better overall. I have an FSN I like it but I have been contemplating buying a VZ 58 with a folding stock just because my FSN is a full stock and I really want a folding stock and I thought of the VZ. rambling...

Which one is better? does anyone really know?
