Cleanest is Hodgdon's Titegroup, and the best is Hodgdon's HS6 and Alliant's Power Pistol. Power Pistol is the most accurate of all according to Hornady. I use power pistol.

Titegroup is clean and unique isnt bad. You get energy if you use blue dot but its dirty as hell. Look hard at the Vihtavuori powders, they cost a bit more but n320 and 330 are some of the cleanest anywhere

Viht N320 or 3N37. Clean but expensive. I use these for my high velocity jacketed loads.

I got a good price on a 8lb jug of TiteGroup and developed a load that seems to be very accurate in most of my 9mms. 3.5gr under a cast 135gr lead round nose bullet.

I'm using titegroup for 9mm under 115, 124 & 147 gr bullets in my Sub2000. It eats everything and hasn't been cleaned in 1500 rounds or more. I shoot alot of berrys plated bullets and like Hornady XTPs for the wack factor.

The Keltek is made for 115 gr bullets. Its about the weight of the bolt and the blowback action. I have done some extensive testing with gold dots, XTPs, and Berrys in various weights and with different powders. Slower burning powders are the way to go with it with light weight bullets. I was developing a load for potential deer hunting so I was looking for max energy. Blue dot with 115 gr XTPs was the clear winner and the faster I cranked them, the more accurate they got. My max load got me 1800 fps and a 1 inch - 5 round group at 50 yards and the load I settled on was 1550 - 1600 fps and the group only opened a 1/4 inch. Only down side, its pretty dirty. As you crank up the load on the 124 gr stuff, the speeds pretty much plateau at around 1350 fps no matter how much powder you stuff in it and you start getting blast coming out the ejection port

I've found Clays to be fairly clean also.

I switched from Bullseye to W231. Noticeably cleaner and maybe even slightly more accurate in the charge weights I like.
