Tavor TAR 21 or XCR?

I have an XCR with the 3 calibre kits. I like it and can use either 7.62x39 or 6.8 for deer. I also like the fact that the boom is further away from my ears.

I would consider a Tavor if the trigger was better. I have seen some threads complaining about mag compatibility (pmags?).

It's a combat trigger. It's not that bad, just different if you're used to a really nice 2-stage trigger. There are no magazine compatibility issues whatsoever with the Tavor (there were some initial concerns that PMAGs could potentially damage the BHO - similar to the SCAR, but these have since been debunked).

Im laughing so hard at this pic, im actually tearing....

I know, I know, use the "search". I have done so, but would like to hear any new opinions. I am about to buy a Travor, but one read about the accuracy that is not as good as the XCR. My question will be-how much worse? I am planning on using it as a coyote shooter, and will very unlikely take shots further that 300 yds. Am planning on putting on a Burris AR536, want to shoot fast as well. Any comments?

Good luck finding a AR 536. Searched for one two weeks ago and could only find the AR 332. Hope you have better luck.

Tavors are crazy expensive - plus optics. Perhaps I will have to start saving over the next year or two.

I know they are well made. I would spend $3k on one way before spending $1500 on an AR.

Have held both, own a XCR. I wouldn't trade it as this point. Like the mag, and the multi caliber options of the XCR. Tavor it a little more ambi, but new XCR's have ambi mag release and a great stock(fast), and I really like the bolt release on the XCR's when blowing through lead and doing quick mag changes.
