I just recently received my PAL/RPAL , so I'm pretty new in this business :). Still await for my safety course /shots for my handgun in the Target Sports. So I bought online 22lr semi. auto carbine to shoot meantime. After first visit to the range, I notice , that the carbine's action once in awhile doesn't stays open, after magazine empties.I never had such problems on my SKS. Now, I still have manufacturer's warranty left . Should I be worry and send this carbine to repair (mean I will not shoot for couple weeks) , or just stop paying attention . Maybe somebody knows some quick fix, DIY staff. I will appreciate any suggestion.
Thanks.

According to the owners manual is should lock open after last shot/empty mag.
Being that it's new, everything may still be tight yet.
Try giving it a good work out and see if the bolt starts locking back more and more after last shot.
If not....bring it back!

What kind of ammo are you using? you may have better luck with some CCI mini-mags since they have a little more punch than standard bulk stuff

Used Winchester super . Will check today , after work, Can. tire. Will see what they have for 22lr.

stay away from CT, many in GTA dont sell ammo, and some that do have limited stock and higher prices ;)

as for the gun, do you only have one mag or a few? could be a mag problem, which is often the case

Previous owner claimed , that he put trough around 300 rounds, and me around 150 so far. I'm wondering what would be aprox. work out for the rimfire

Have two mags, seems as both making the same problem. Tomorrow (hopefully) will get to the range to experiment :)

Actually, I found the problem. Last time I cleaned it, I figured out how this mechanism works :). Then I found the solution, how to fix it. On the side of the mags there is the "help load" button and this button acctuate the spring loaded lever , which when triggered will keep the action open. This "help" button is adjustable ;) , so in my situation I just unscrewed it a little. Now everything works, as a Swiss watch :)
