Ammo Reloading Courses

Yeah, youtube is probably the most convenient option here, there are countless videos. I don't think I ever heard of an actual reloading course, through I suppose the Precision rifle, or competitive shooting, guys might know of something.

Or it's entirely possible that someone local to you might be able to give you an in person demonstration.

Cabelas runs these little demos on the weekends.
They will have a reloading one from time to time, but I agree, find someone local to visit.
Another member here in the peg had a little session last winter and there were about 6 of us that showed up.
I'd suggest buy a book do some reading, get some supplies and jump right in.
Once you figure out how get the dies set up properly it's mostly just repetitive work.
I started out with a Lee kit for Christmas last year, it's a good starter kit.

I'm in north Brampton/Caledon, if you have some stuff lined up for reloading, Would happily come over to teach. No big issues. Same thing, if you are buying cheap reloading, you are going to buy again. So go for some quality stuff and PM if you needs to know specific calibers to reload, I might have some extra powder sitting some where.

Sierra and David Tubb teamed up a few years ago.....ok maybe a couple decades ago, and put out a pretty good reloading video that can be found on the internet. Its called Sierra highpower rifle reloading.

Its best to find a buddy who can show you or allow you to work through the process. Especially before you fork out your cash on un-needed items.

I offer a reloading course called RSA= Reloading Safe / Sensible Ammunition. I cover metallic rifle, revolver and pistol cartridges loaded with modern smokeless powders. I have written my own course material (50+ pages / 30 000 words) and have individual work stations for each student.

The dates of my upcomming courses are Friday 9 Nov., Saturday 17 Nov. or Sunday 25 Nov. 2012.

Send me a PM with an e-mail address and I shall send you some more info and some photos.

Thank you,

I think the reloading manual you bought and some of the better Youtube channels are a good start along with these types of forums. Mentors (online or in person) are great as long as they know what they are doing. There seem to be a lot of people online who got a reloading kit friday and are asking questions, then they're handing out expert advice by sunday so be careful.
