Browning 725 sport and/or CZ wingshooter in Canada?

After shooting one and handling quite a few, I have ordered a 30 inch sporting for myself. I have decided on a non adj comb as I can have a better comb installed cheaper.
It should be here in 4 to 8 weeks.

When you get your new 725 sporting disregard the section in the manual about switching the from ejectors to extractors as that feature was dropped from the north american verision .if by chance your gun does have that feature you have a gun with the european forend .i was in contact with Browning canada about this and that was the explaination that was given .but no explaination why it was dropped.the first couple hundred that came across the pond had the feature but was later changed.

That feature is not covered in the 2012 Master Catalog, but now that you mention it, I feel like I'm missing out on something:(

Ya that kinda sucks, i guess browning figures that we like to bend over to pick up our empties. Selectable ejectors are cool and i prefer extract only for clay sports but despise them out in the field. Im pretty sure im not alone with my perferences.

Got my new 725 Sporting in the mail on Thursday. When I got it home and cleaned the exterior and assembled it, I discovered that the mechanical triggers were not functional.:( I did not want to risk voiding the warranty and attempt my own repair so I re packed it and mailed it back to Browning Canada. Lucky I got other clay guns to keep me shooting.

ripitup911 was right on.

Blastyblast---Down the road from you at Hanly---Salt Lake Guns (also first class sporting clays range and owner )---phone 306-544-2426--Graham----tell him Bent Barrel sent you------Bent Barrel

Dumb question. After you flick the barrel selector on the stock does the other barrel automatically fire with a second pull of the trigger or do you have to switch the selector between shots?

I have been instructed to return it so that their smith could examine it. I have postal tracked it back to them but I have heard nothing from them. I have conformation that they have read my emails but no written response.

crap, any word on this issue.
I was going to order a 725 sporting, but dropping that coin to have problems is not attractive.

None! When I spoke to Browning they told me that getting another 725 would be a long wait. I told them I wanted a new 725 and would not accept a repaired one. Since I cancelled the order they do not owe me an explanation. I may order one next year. They should have the problem worked out by then. For the record, all of the people I know that own a 725 are happy with them.

no doubt the 725 is sweet :)

two months since you had yours, doubt they fixed the problem yet.
crap. was hoping early january to put the order in.

would be good if people who own them chime in on when they bought theres and if any problems.

might still take a gamble and buy. its that or get the 625 :(

I would have ordered another one, but their expected delivery date was spring.

I've had my 725 Sporting since August. I shoot about four to five rounds of skeet per week. The gun is reliable & I am well pleased with my purchase..

I have changed the ejector springs to Colt 1911 firing pin springs, this way the gun is in extract only mode & I do not have to worry about dropping empty hulls. The mod can be found in the Browning forum on Shotgun World.
