If these guys can have AKs, why can't we?

Tactical wedding dresses. Now I've seen everything. Frankly, if I were going to battle in a wedding dress, I'd pick something with less skirting. Maybe a slinky little form fitting thing, with lace shoulder straps and a matching tiara. I know he thinks he looks fabulous, but I don't think he's pulling that off, he doesn't have the boobs for it.

i always get a good laugh over the coments about the pics people post on here. i have an ak 47 and the rpg along side of it would fit nice in my gun safe. i dont think the rcmp would think very much of that.

We can own AK's (they are non restricted too). Just good luck ever finding one, and when you do, expect to pay a small fortune. See Valmet Hunter, Valmet Hunter Auto and Valmet M78

Has anyone ever actually DONE a conversion?

Cause here they're expensive and rare and the buyers of such guns aren't likely to dress em up like an ak.

In the states they'd just buy an ak, does a conversion exist? I doubt it's as easy as just swapping furniture.

Having never handled a valmet nor looked closely at an ak short of blasting through a few mags. I have no idea what's involved.

I've converted one of my Hunters to an M76, it's currently at Dlask having the front hand guard retainer made. There's a thread somewhere in here where I posted pictures of it.
It's not overly complicated, the degree of difficulty depends on your mechanical aptitude and what tools you have on hand.

I also just started converting another one into a Galil.

Link to picture thread?

I want to know what the actual work involved is, I couldn't probably guesstimate the costs involved if ya don't want to say.
