How long wait for STATT in Ontario

Hey guys, I just bought my first hangun and I'm anxiously waiting for the green light to go pick it up.
I was wondering how long does it usually take for the CFO to approve of an STATT?
I paid for my handgun last saturday, Oct 27th and I was told I can't take it home yet because the CFO is closed and they open on tuesday and I can go pick it up then. I call on tuesday to see if it's ready for me to pick up and they say that there's a backlog at CFO and the STATT will take some time to process.

BTW, located in Ontario.

Anyone know how long it usually takes?

I got mine 2 days after purchasing the firearm. I think I paid on Monday and picked it up Wednesday night.

I am in Ontario too.

It quite often differs if it's a private sale vs. a business sale. A private sale can take a few days, a business sale is usually hours.

hmm. I see. I guess I'll give them a call tomorrow morning. It's a used gun from a business. Hopefully it's all good by saturday

Can you get an ATT to bring your handgun to a range that offers day passes or do you have to be a member at a gun club?

STATT and the transfer are 2 different things..
