i'm not sure why i waited so long to do it, but i finally put a Nightforce on my LMT 308..

wow is it nice...i cant wait to get it dialed in on monday...

only thing i need to find is a proper brake and im set....on that note, i will happily take suggestions for a good muzzle brake and where i can get my hands on one.

i would love one, but they are rather unobtanium...

here is where i put the old optic that was on the LMT...now the RFB has the optic it deserves as well..

Surefire worked best on mine !
Really tames the recoil, and not "blasty" like some comps.
Like it alot more than the battlecomp... more effective, same sound signature, and less flash.

Nice setup dude.

About the brake / comp, I've heard really good things about the Jerry miculek brake. You can get um at brownells and they're pretty affordable. A couple of my fellow instructors use it and recommended it to me. For the $50 ish price tag ill give her a try. I'm running a Troy medieval now and the front opening of the ports are all pitted so she's gotta go.

Cool. Have you got the CL or SS barrel on that rifle? I'm going to be moving a Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20x over to my LMT MWS shortly. I've got the 20" SS barrel on it. Should be fun.

Don't get me wrong the brake is nice but.... It's not really required for that rifle. That being said the surefire one looks really cool.

it has the chrome lined barrel......
 
Nice rig. I really like the NEA Crusader brake. Have one on my AR and will prob put another one on the ACR. Don't know if they are available in 762...
 
Ugh....I was looking at a VX-6 for mine just to a save a few bucks on the tactical paper puncher but that scope looks nice... Wondering if I'd regret not spending the extra $ to get a NXS 5.5-22 :/
