disassembled and reassembled my bolt tonight !!

I had the infamous ARMS 18 issue of the occasional ejected casing being caught by the bolt as it came forward .
So I needed to trim a few coils off of the ejector and extractor springs.
I received my bolt disassembly tool from Brownells today and it is worth every penny ,and it made the job easy .
I had to back out an allen screw abit on the front of the tool as it wouldnt allow the bolt to go forward enough so the bottom pin on the tool could insert into the extractor hole on the bottom of the bolt .
After that everything went very smooth , reassembly of the bolt went smooth as well after trimming the coils.

Now to see if the process cured my problem.

Good stuff! One may never need to disassemble the bolt, but if you do, that tool is worth it's weight in gold, IMO.

It often does but unfortunately it didn't solve my issue. I then went on to replace it with a USGI spring kit from Brownells. That didn't fix it either so I ordered the Pro Mag ARMS18 copy with cut-out.

By looking at your vid, I think that the M14 Doctor's bolt tool is a better design, easier to use and is about the same price. Plus, it's Canadian made! (I'm in no way affiliated with M14 Doctor).

The Brownells tool is fair bit cheaper .. it was $47.07 (with my discount) and IIRC the other was $95 or so and its a video I found on youtube

Thanks Hungry, Actually it was Team Remington with Buzzballer and ? that Team Norinco Plinko Tinko outshot .
Team Savage with rhs was kicking butt !! He pulled of a fantastic grouping at 500 yards .

Thanks, and I'm sure that custom Team Norinco Plinko patches can be arranged. Will do some Googling . Do we want to keep the patches simple, or does anybody have a logo we could use?
