Hey fellas.

Any one buy a good to very good m48 or m24 from marstar recetly.

Looking for feedback and opinions since its all sight unseen.
Pictures any one ?

Any one buy mismatched bolt and refurb for 75$ less

Thanks

I bought a few from lever arms a few years ago and they were all great. just soak the bolts because the grease slows down the firing pin and it doesn't strike the primer hard enough. After soaking they worked fine. I bought a bunch mixed surplus buttplates as replacements for these guns.

I bought one of the M48A's from the last batch and it is a fantastic Mauser! I don't think you'll be dissapointed. I'd recommend spending the extra and get a vg rated one. They are a beautifully made rifle IMHO.

No. Mine was from the previous batch and I paid the extra for hand select. I'd rate it as new unissued. Other than a minor dent or two in the stock from storage/handling it is pretty much brand new.

I'm just recommending spending the extra to get the best condition ones they have at this time. They are nicely made and when in top condition show some beautiful blueing, machining, etc. I'll post some pics in a bit.

Ok. Here are some pics of my M48A. All matching, hand select with bayo. The wood grain is a little plain compared to some Yugo mausers I've seen but still a nice rifle. I really like it.

jbmauser.....pretty !!

They are out of unissues m48 sadly.

What do they mean by refurbished mismtached bolt.
Suppose the stock is complete crap but mechanics and barrel is amazing ??
Its 75 off for mismtach bolt.

Thanks

G Vg or new m48?
They only have G m48 left over.
Or mismtached bolt and refinished for sale.

Or vg m24

Darn.

Thx

I jumped as soon as they announced them going on sale on Facebook. I tried for an Ex M24, and they accepted my order, but it turned out they had already run out, so they called back and subbed a hand picked M48BO, which as I've noted is a gorgeous rifle. And then three days later a buddy made me an offer I could not refuse on a really nice M24/47, so now I have two Yugo Mausers and no money :).

So.....Lets hop into pm for a little business discussion lol.

Interested ?

If your looking for a good Mauser you should go with the m24 they were made before ww2 back when they took their time do it right none of that stamped bs. M48 are pretty much cheaper alternatives to kar98.
But it's up to you 379 fora g m48a or399 fora vg m24-47

Good point caleb. But its a staright bolt handle not bent.... Although no bigguie.

Or 379 - 75 for a refurb m48
Cheap..... wonder what marstar considers a refurb....

The thing is that m48s were used in the Yugoslav wars in the 90s so a refurbished one might have a crapy bore, the m24/47 were not used and were refurbished in 47 and usually had new m48 barrels installed

The mismatched bolt-refurb they sent is beautiful. Shoots dead on right out of the box (after cleaning, of course). Bore is clean, stock is not in the best shape, but rifles are like guitars: I love the new shiny ones as much as the well used ones. This thing is full of character. Took it out once; all I can say is awesome.
