Looking to buy my first AR15... Advices are welcome !!!

Windham weaponry for $1199.
Windham weaponry is made out of ex bushmaster employees.
Reports and reviews said WW's quality is better than bushmaster and it has lifetime warranty.

My choice for you in that price range would also be the Daniel Defense M4, either V5 or MK 18. I ordered mine from Wolverine Supplies and it came in a week!
I also have an XCR-L, which I would take over any of the restricted stuff, but its a little out of your price range, even on the EE used. The non-restrictedart of the XCR may sway your opinion though, as it makes the rifle so much more usable and easy to even transport, so,etching ont to be taken lightly.

I agree, The DD is nice but from what I see its more a tactical assault rifle than a *target* rifle.

I don't want a rifle to upgrate, that's why i'm interested by the the RRA.
I like the sleek look and the features of this rifle.

I don't want to end up with something like that... :p

To each his own i suppose, but an AR is something you can have fun building and you can make it your own. If you want something plain just get a bolt action rifle, an AR is something that should be different from others and unique to its owner.

LoL buy a bolt action !!! I own 16 rifles, now its time to buy my first AR.

I don't want to buy a tactical AR, I want a precision AR without spending 5K. I want something with a good resale value since its my first AR but it won't be the last.
Why should I buy a 1100$ AR that is not like I whant, then spend couples of hundred bucks on accessories ??? What will be the resale value ???
If you read the OP, I'm not familiar with the AR platform so I need to know more before I can build my own AR from different parts.
The RRA varmint is really what I'm looking for. Fixed A2 stock, FF handguard without railings, low profile gas block with rail, match trigger, bull barrel....
Thats what I want !!!

I think its time to close this thread !!! Thank you for most of the replys !!!

I had a RRA varmit with 24 inch barrel. Def not the same quality as either my LMT or DD rifles. I think the Varmint with a 16 inch barrel would be decent for accuracy. I shoot my 16 DD to 300m plus all the time with minute of man accuracy. If you want to get close to 1 moa you will need to be handloading.

For accuracy out of the box, RRA is definitely worth a look. My RRA ATH will shoot sub moa all day long with hornady steel case. A better shooter than me would get even better results out of the rifle.

Yes, and we have ARs. They are a pretty good deer rifle, and a fantastic varmint gun. This is my RRA ATH. 18" match barrel, mid-length gas system, match trigger. Tack-driver out of the box. A bit heavy for carrying around the hills for days on end, but for a range gun, it'll be fine.

I heard that about the RRA ATH. It's a sleeper Rifle. It will outshoot everything.
