I should have been a little more specific, but I don’t have time alway to type out every thought…
Ok so, if laws allowed, I’d build a KAC or LMT .308 AR and use that for my "sniper" style rifle out in the bush. I love bolt action rifles, but after shooting many different AR platforms I am sold that a semi-auto .308 is the way to go. I would love to have both but I am one of those people who, if given $$$ to spend on an expensive rifle, would buy a non-restricted for the pure fact that I can "use" it in the field. Tac shoots are cool and all and crucial for training, but nothing beats slinging your rifle on your back in the field, hiking up to your spot and making 1000 yd shots with nobody around to tell you what to do.
Now for some KAC movie goodness (f*ck yea!):
I have the blue ray of that movie The Losers. Good fun.
I love my LMT, but my Armalites will also always have a spot in my safe.

I should add that the groups in the above thread aren't the best ones. I loaded some 175 SMK that were phenomenal. Fireball pulled the 4th shot, otherwise it looked to be about a 1/4 group centre to centre. The 5th shot was perfect. That being said he shot it with a Burris Fullfield II 3-9x with a bipod and no back bag. The funny thing was I loaded those rounds for the RFB which didn't like them much. The AR10 loved them.
Armalite DND AR10. 24" SS tripple lapped, ceramic coated, threaded for a supressor 1:11.25 twist rate. It's heavy but it shoots like a house on fire (can hold it's own against the most expensive SS barreled LMT, KAC in that department) and it has that utilitarian look to it. The phantom flash hider was modified for the threads and is there to protect the crown and threading. I take it off before I shoot.
Sorry for the crappy iphone pic.
Mine is the one furthest back. Fireball owns the one in front.
Canadian AR10 in action. Not a movie.
