I've been really wanting to get an M14 for a long time. I've even gone on Canada Ammo's website a few times and was almost done placing an order for one before I changed my mind.
I'm mainly worried about getting a bad one. Also I'm not very mechanically inclined and it seems like these rifles need a lot of work to get them to work well. So I guess my question is, would I be better off spending the extra cash and getting a Springfield M1A? Can anyone who owns both or has experience with both comment on whether the M1A is worth the extra money?
Thank
