Just purchased my first handgun! Yay!

What a waste of money, you know a gun is used to SHOOT bullets right? Not going to hit much by throwing a bullet, but I guess you could retrieve them and use them over and over. . . ;)

jk, hope you have many more awesome days of throwing lead down range. I'm sure you'll be into reloading pretty soon though with the cost of .45.
 
Trebor, Yeah, a little late to try to talk me into a 22LR pistol, I really don't get much satisfaction from a tiny pop... I prefer a heavier round with a substantial thump. Jimbo, I actually wanted to get a 9mm first, specifically because of the ammo costs, but I really couldn't pass up the 1911 .45 for the price (in stock too!) I could have ordered a 9mm in, and waited, but I am nothing if not impatient! :D
