I have a small press I leave set up with a depriming die as I deprime cases before tumbling. However I am looking for a hand tool to do the same job to be more portable.

What happenes to the primer when you deprime with the Lee Breech Lock Hand Press? Does it just fall on the floor?

Is there a small universal depriming tool that will deprime all rifle brass up to 338 Lapua? If there is, I can not find one.

I use a Lee Hand Press with a universal depriming die to deprime my cases in front of the tv before cleaning them. There is a hollow chamber under the shell holder that collects the primers and you just have to dump them out when it gets full, maybe 50ish small primers and less for large primers.

Thats good news, I was hoping it didnt just drop them on the floor... looks like that is what I will use then, thank you.

as stated, it will hold about 40-50 small primers under the shell plate.

handy little press!

though the press is a bit more flimsy then i was expecting, but seems to work just fine. i managed to re size some 45acp to accept a 38 cal bullet. now i decide if i dare fire them in the 45.... :)

This is what I do too except I use the sizing/depriming die with my Lee hand press and I do my depriming after the brass has been tumbled so I don't have the extra step of cleaning out the primer pocket.

I also use a RCBS universal hand primer to do my priming in front of the tv. The rest of the steps I churn out at the press.
