The sky isnt the limit for money

I am looking to get a tactical shotgun for my wife on the farm as a critter dispatcher.

Thinking a semi

14" barrel is longest I would like

Box mag options??? Reason for this I would really like to have a mag with slugs or ssgs and a mag with like number six in it so she can grab the gun and then open ammo box and grab the appropiate mag for critter

Really looking for very good recommends.

Was also thinking about a semi 45acp and get those CIL #6 shot loads for it. Any thoughts here?

so far 14" + semi = restricted.
restricted + farm = jail or charges.

4" doesn't make a that much of a difference for weight or handling (#### jokes aside)
remington makes a nice semi auto youth 20 ga with 18 or 20" barrel. 11-87 I believe? nice short stock, points nice.

afaik there are no offerings in a 20g with a box mag with the exception of those ones CAnAm brought in, but those are restricted.

as far as a .45 rifle with #6? why not just buy a shotgun? KISS works well for these types of things.

Save the remarks

I am an established hunter and a gun collector

Might not know 14" is restricted as they sell 8.5" 12 gauge guns

Appreciate the remington thought actually already looked at one.

As for the 45acp it would allow me to have solids and the option of a lighter bird shot http://www.cci-ammunition.com/products/detail.aspx?loadNo=3745

For the .45 ACP you might want to look at the JR carbine. A little expensive in my opinion, but people on here seem to like them and they use Glock pistol mags.

An "established hunter" should know how short range and powered limited bird shot is for pistol cartridges...they are for killing snakes or mice/rats at point blank range...a rifle will NOT help this. Not to mention how these will more then likely not cycle in your gun, are overly expensive and 110% pointless.

Thnx for the input it is understood if is for small critters like snakes

Thinking will purchase pump 20 gauge with short barrel and a 22 with a clip. Likely make more sense.

Also jeff you can take the comments and place them in the corner were they belong. I would hope that with 644 posts they are better then the above.

Your rude whether there is truth and facts in anything you are typing

You remind me of some younge punk that thinks hes a swingin D after getting a PAL and a rifle.

After looking over your profile you really have nothing to add but hot air mate. Winds blowing but nobody is listening.
