ups-Int'l Expedite
ups-Worldwide Saver
ups-Canada Standard

Parcel Post Priority Mail International
Parcel Post Express
Fedex Int'l Express
Bax Global

I have no idea what some of these are but i want the cheapest one

they don't estimate shipping so its kind of a shot in the dark, i didnt order anyting big or heavy, a bullet seating die .223/ a case mic .223/ and a bullet comparator hex nut kind

Parcel post mail international would be USPS United States Parcel Service is your best shipping option. UPS and FEDEX will ass rape you with their brokerage fees avoid them at all cost. Other option is to ship to a US mailbox and pick-up if that is an option for yourself.

I've bought tools from Sinclairs including presses via Parcel Post Priority (USPS). It takes about 2 weeks to arrive and shipping is quite reasonable - certainly no more then if it came from across Canada.

Yeah, that was one eye popping experience the first time I took delivery from the US on a bunch of goodies shipped via UPS.Thievery, and like another poster pointed out if I can't get something shipped by USPS I just try to find another supplier who will.As for Fedex,I had a parcel delivered by them and I thought I was off the hook and then a few days later I received a bill from them for their brokerage fees that were just as stiff as UPS charges.

I was told by FedEx that I could avoid brokerage fees if I called with the tracking number as soon as the item is shipped to set up an account with a credit card and then they would just charge my credit card the taxes when it came across the border. I haven't tried it yet as I do prefer the US postal system. I know that UPS will not do this as I had a package sent to me and I tried to see if I could set it up to just pay the taxes but I couldn't, at least the company gave me a credit for the brokerage fees as they were to ship by the postal system not UPS.

I had a parcel shipped form the states via fed x, well the shipping cost more..Actualy the parcel was around $90 and change and the shipping was $90. It took nearly two weeks to get it and a week after that I received an invoice for an extra $20 on top of everything else. I bit the bullet and paid but Never Again !

I just put the order in today and the shipping is going to be $25, with usps parcel. That's defiantly reasonable for 3 items. The cheaper prices from sinclair will off-set the shipping cost too

Parcel Post Priority Mail International (this is the slower one, and by slow i mean a week)....I chose the Express option last time as it sounds slower then Priority....so I got my package in a business day but it cost me an extra $40 :)
I used brownells so they dont show the cost until they ship it

I buy lots of stuff from Sinclair, use USPS and it gets here pretty fast. Depending on the cost of the order, usually if under $100 or so I don;t get dinged for provincial tax and a handling fee. On higher orders it is hit and miss if you get dinged for BC tax. I bought a Zeiss range finder for over $500 from NY Camera and paid no taxes then bought a Nikon spotting scope for about $250 from them and got taxed 12 % when it got here plus around $8 handling fee, which is no real biggie as you would have to pay the tax here anyways. Cheers Roscoe
