Alright so, this should not be a spoiler to those who watch the show and are not caught up, but seen here, is a character lining up a long shot.
This was how he looked when pulling the trigger.

Now I got a kick out of this. A carbine, with the stock collapsed, holding it completely wrong is the first thing I noticed, then I had a subliminal glitch and had to pause/rewind to double take, and sure enough, no sights.

Probably, IMO, the worst firearm fail I've noticed in a movie or TV show.
 
Yeah, I saw that too. The guy he shot was probably 50-75 yards away. He also cut the sling to take the rifle from a dead guardsman. Not sure why you'd do that if you planned to keep the rifle. Don't shows like that have firearm consultants?

Never point shoot a shotgun? Even with slugs its not overly hard to hit a target the size of a mans torso at 50-75 yards ...not saying the show was right or anything tho

Or played paintball? those guns (most) to not have sight nor to you bring it up to your eye to shoot.
 
Also, just a continuation error that I noticed. He killed the solider by smashing his skull in with the butt of the rifle and you can clearly see that the butt is covered in blood, brains, head goo and what have you. But when he takes the miracle shot, the gun is clean.
