Man.... I hated glocks with a passion until I got the glock 19....

I cant believe i waited to get one so long. Maybe its a gen 4 thing. But darn happy.

If anyone hates glocks, and has second thoughts about getting one, and you have girl hand size like I do. Do not fear, glock will fit....


Sold off everything else I had, and keeping the glock 19. Light, very natural aim. Best gun for natural aiming. Better then my cz75 Shadow or S&W M&P 45.
 
I never really hated them. I shot a gen1 in the 80s when they first came out. I always thought " ya cool gun but a little light, not for me". I didnt get the bug until a couple of months ago. Now I own two (gen 3 and RTF). Im on the fence about buying the 3rd. Id like to get a G20 in 10mm now. I feel that I made the right choice over getting a S&W M&P. So many aftermarket parts for Glocks was one of the main reasons for my decision.

I have small hands as well and find the 19 fits me much better than the 17, so much so that I broke down and bought one of the Gen 4's recently imported by Dlask.

How much bigger was the M&P45 grip compared to the G19? I keep thinking about the M&P, but have yet to handle one in 45 to see if they work for me.

I'll take that Shadow off your hands.. LOL
 
the m&p 45 with small grips was very nice, but I couldnt reach the mag release unless i twisted the pistol slightly. maybe a extended mag release would of helped but oh well.

Glock 19 I can reach the mag release with out needing to twist anything. I can be in full combat stance with proper girp, keep my target on sight, go for the mag, release the mag, with out ever losing my target. So happy, the only other pistol I could of done that with was a cz75 shadow. Only issue with cz75 Shadow I ever had, and this is the only issue, It was heavier. and For a SHTF kit, weight counts. Cz75 shadow was slightly more comfortable, but the glock 19 is comfortable enough that I do not care about the difference.I cant use glock 17, feels weird...

Hmmm, I better find one to test fondle. I can't reach the mag release without twisting the gun a bit on any pistol I have tried so far, so that is no drawback to me.

A lot of people have that complaint.
Handguns are designed that way so you don't ever drop the mag while firing.
