AR/JR top sights

So I've decided to get myself a JR carbine, might want to get my ass out there quick before the now scared again yanks buy out whatever's left on their shelves, anyway, I've decided what sighting system to use, I'm thinking the AR top carrying handle/sight and the barrel mounted front sight. My question is, not having AR parts in my bloodstream, where to get them here in Canada so it wouldn't all cost me an arm and a leg and it wouldn't be junk at the same time. I have also noticed that airsoft parts are pretty much the same but waaay cheaper. Has anyone tried this ?

haha i already threatened to copy his jr, waiting on parts, furniture from the EE, sights from a norc 10.5,...and a bag -o-parts from jr to get the damn thing to shoot!

NO, THEY ARE NOT THE SAME. There's a reason why they're cheaper. I have an old airsoft carrying handle I have laying around that I got a decade ago. You just flick it and the sight moves. You cannot mount it securely to a top rail. Please never put airsoft crap on real firearms.
