So I am considering getting my RPAL along with my PAL, and I was doing a little research on the government websites and found the following:
Under the Consent to occasional inspections part, does that mean that anyone who gets a PAL consents to occasional inspections, anyone that gets a RPAL consents to occasional inspections, or anyone who gets an RPAL with a gun registered as a collector's item consents to occasional inspections?
I don't want to just hap-hazardously throw out the need for the police to have a warrant to come searching my house if I can avoid it.
Collectors of Restricted Firearms
To be authorized to have restricted firearms as part of a collection, an individual must:
Know the historical, technical or scientific features of such firearms in their collection
Consent to occasional inspections of the place where their collection is stored
Comply with regulations dealing with safe storage, record-keeping and other matters related to restricted firearms
Under the Consent to occasional inspections part, does that mean that anyone who gets a PAL consents to occasional inspections, anyone that gets a RPAL consents to occasional inspections, or anyone who gets an RPAL with a gun registered as a collector's item consents to occasional inspections?
