Im just wondering if anyone bought one of these stocks from Richards Mircofit for a Savage 93r17?

I dont see too much info about these so I thought I would ask, because I did read from one fellow that they didnt fit that great for him and he had to do some tweakin to make it fit.
 
A friend of mine has ordered one for his CZ 452 17hmr. He texted me today to say that he got an email from them today saying it will ship next week. 8 weeks turnaround.
 
They make some nice stocks... Just keep in mind

- They are a small mom and pop shop
- It easier/faster to deal with them over the phone... You can send an email to confirm the details.
- If they have it stock (when you called). You'll usually get it within a week or two.
- If they have to cut it, it will be 8-12 weeks
- There stock are usually unfinished... so get ready to do some sanding.
- If ordering walnut, they usually under-rate their wood... So you'll most likely get nicer wood than what you expected.

I was looking at picking up something off their close out bargain bin that Ive been eye ballin.

I never heard of anyone saying anything about Richards not selling it to us if its over a hundred bucks like Boyds.
 
I ordered mine from there. Thier communication really sucks. It took roughly 6 months to recieve the stock as well.

BUT was it worth the wait?, lack of communication? and the price????

Wow that looks fricken nice wheeler.

Im lookin at just a ruff stock and painting it textured OD. They do have a black one on their specials page though.
