Anschutz Model 54 Match - questions

Hi - I have come into the possession of a Anschutz Model 54 Match.
It has an electronic trigger (that was high tech 25 years ago) run by a 9 volt battery but I have 3 - 4 other regular triggers for it. I have the front sight with a bunch of different rings but uncertain if I have a rear sight for it. Have to go through some boxes to check. I also have a second stock for it
I have 2 sets of scope rings that dont look like any rings I have seen before - pictures below
It also came with an older model 3x9 redfield scope with very fine lines
Its about 30 years old and Eley ammo was used for shooting. It belonged to a guy who used to compete at National and international levels about 30 years ago but it has been in storage for the last 25 years and he really was particular about his guns so I know its very accurate

The rifle appears to be a 60s vintage. The trigger appears to be a Green trigger out of Montrose Calif. that were used by some match shooters of that time if their discipline permitted.
The barrel appears to be dovetailed ahead of the action ?? The rings look to be of different heights and of EAW (Ernst Apel Werke) manufacture with windage adjustability. Good rings but a little bulky but may be the ticket for mounting the scope on the barrel dovetail. Interesting rifle.

Im wondering about just getting a newer set/style of rings that would mount on the action instead of the barrel. I dont think I want to go to a maual sight - eyes just not as good as they use to be
I will have to test the triggers to see which ones work - It appears the electronic one isnt working any more.
The rings are some sort of quick release but Im uncertain of the reason they have the strange shape.
That is one things about those old competition shooters - they had very little concern about the look - it was all about if it worked well. There are still pieces of masking tape on it that I need to remove.

The Model number should be on the barrel.
You can go online and obtain an instructional manual.
I sent an email to Anschutz for the action screws torque and they advised 5.5 NewtonMetres. That is about 48 inch pounds.
Yours is older than mine as you have a wing safety but that don't mean it won't work and produce great groups.
Manay still use Eley ammo.

What you have is a very early 54 (1950's vintage) with an American-made Green trigger.

Well I got the cantilever mount from BLK. Did some lapping of the rings - they were not very round! Now I want to find an 3 way adjustable buttplate - Any suggestions where I can get one. I also have a 2nd stock which I have not even tried out - It appears to be more of a bench rest stock. I want to refinish both stocks as a lot of the finish was removed when I took of 20 year old masking tape that was holding cardboard cheekrests - Old School but they made it work! LOL. I dont have any of the original Anschutz Butt plates for it - long story... they ended up in a box that went to the dump (

I am also including some pictures for all the other parts/ pieces I have with it - including other triggers, sights etc. Any info about those parts - are they still being used etc would be appreciated. I dont think Im ever going to shoot this open sights because I want it more for benchrest style shooting.
