The Downside of bullpup rifles.(one of them)

from looking at an fs2000 there is just a little plastic flip lid on top to see in, that's likely the weak point on them to cause that is something goes haywire. looked like it got a fireing pin stuck forward went full auto and finally had a round go off out of battery.

i feel pretty safe with my tavor and rfb. never been a fan of the fs2000.

only downside of the bullpups i can see is the cost :)
 
that video was shot at the Knob Creek range if i am not mistaken, the craddle of full auto.

don't look too far into stuck firing pin n this n that. probably 99% of the guns on that range are full auto

Explain how running full auto would cause a detonation? Bad ammo or not, a catastrophic ammo failure in a bullpup means a trip the hospital. I'll pass....

The scariest part of that video; The sound of full-auto fire, while the rifle is being dropped and flipped.

I thought I was about to see twenty people get shot in that video.

Luckily that was the sound of another rifle. (Whew!)
 
hope hes ok, does suck having the action more rear wards in a catastrophic failure like this, more chance for injury

at least its some rental 3 grand gun going kaboom and not his
 
Not his hand. watch it in HD you can see the powder burns on his face he is super lucky he was wearing eyepro. Look at the eyepro at the end, the right lens is blacked out from the powder burn.

Ah, hard to spot unless you watch it in fullscreen. Looks like he got sh*t on all over by the toilet seat. ;) Subject says bad ammo. 999 out of 1,000 - it's always the ammo...

FA is only 10K+ in the states because of the assault weapons ban, new production FA guns are not that much more then their semi auto counter parts,


Is anyone else wondering why people didnt immediately rush to help this guy in the video? seems like they didnt even notice for a second or two
 
If they were legal to own and new production was not excluded, they wouldn't be $10K - Marstar will sell you a Yugo M70 for less than a grand if you've got the right paper.

Hey, the guy above is pretty damned smart - and he can type faster than me
