It is very hard to tell for sure as you cannot see enought of it to be positive but I would say with 85 to 90% certainty it is a Smith & Wesson model 544 Texas Wagon Train com. I will post some pictures of one later tonight.

Hi its a 44 H.E. 3 Model pre-war Model of 1926 Hand Ejector 44-40 and has the shroulded extractor rod and has patend # on the back side of hammer you can see it in the picture. But someone parkerized it in black which still look cool but if left alone it would have been worth alot more...They were made from 1926-1941..

It's a S&W 44 Hand Ejector 1st Model (Triple Lock New Century 1907-1915) or a S&W 44 Hand Ejector 3rd Model (1925-1949). It's been refinished. The 1st Model was mostly made in .44 Special but few were furnished in .44 S&W russian, .44-40, .45 Colt, .45 S&W special, .450 Eley, .455 Mark II and .44-40. The 3nd Model was also mostly made in .44 Special but a few were made in .44-40 and .45 Colt.

Edit: Like Rigmover said, it's probably a 3rd Model since the 1st Model is a pretty scarce piece.

Since it's been refinished the collector value is pretty much gone. I would say around $800-$900 in the condition shown. In excellent original condition it would bring close to $2000...

Edit: With the Stags it's closer to $1200 than $900!

Barrel length? If anyone knows? I am, sadly not a 12.6 holder.

I want one for a shooter...so well kept original finish, stag grips and so on do not mean much to me...I just like the idea of a more "modern" revolver (DA/SA) in .44-40 :)

It's a Glock according to the media guidelines for weapons identification.

I was going to say AK-47, but I looked at the chart and it's definitely a Glock.
