So I finally purchased my first Glock, a brand new G17 gen 4, but I'm not all that impressed (knew there was a reason I didn't buy one sooner
)
I need to know when you field strip the gun and go to reassemble the slide onto the frame, if you are watching from above as you mate the two together does the slide at one point angle/go crooked before returning to straight?
As I push the slide rearward it actually twists to the right at the point where the trigger bar enters the slide.
Its actually possible for me to hold the slide straight while pushing it onto the frame and have the trigger bar directly contact the slide cover plate and stop the slide from installing.
I feel like this should not be normal behaviour, but let me know! I haven't shot it yet, but it might need to be returned
