Lol. Thanks for all the opinions guys!! Especially the funny ones. Yeah I've always hated scopes on handguns. Think I'll give it a whirl just once at the range then take it off. Can't remember if I've ever fired a handgun with a scope. It'll definitely look better without it.

I'll probably keep scope and trade the whole works as a package IF I decide to move it along. Thanks for the offer though. I usually get bored with a gun after awhile and trade it for something different. However this is a Colt!!

Likely a long eye relief scope, probably best on one ot those Elmer Keith type "scout rifles" that mounted the scope on the barrel instead of the reciever.
I wonder why he came up with that stupid idea?
