Although I'm not new to the world of shooting (been doing it 40 years now) I am new to the world of hanguns. I'm about to get my first pistol, and I've decided on a CZ Shadow SP-01 Shadow. There are two different dealers here in Calgary that have them. One has the regular Shadow and the other has the Shadow Dualtone. There's only $60 difference between them, and I do like the way the Dualtone looks, but I'm concerned about the finish. CZ describes the Dualtone as having "glossy blue - slide, silver paint – frame". It's the paint part that worrys me. If I'm choosing one gun over another based on looks, I certainly don't want it to chip and then look worse in time. So my question is whether anyone has experience with factory paint finishes in general, or better yet the Shadow Daualtone, and can tell me just how durable they are.

They are very durable and the all black shadow is also a paint finish and not regular bluing.
