Just a question... what is so interesting about a 1911 "double stack" 9mm when we are limited to 10rds? What good is the 17 round capacity? Maybe only a thicker grip for those with big hands?

bigger hole to stick the mag into and tapered mags that hit that hole easier.

sporteque may have them or get them, but i could actually buy one in the states and have it imported for cheaper than they sell them

You could also find some .40 cal mags that fit the gun as well and you can get an extra 2 to 4 rounds in it legally depending how it is pinned, you could also pin the mag yourself so that like a semi auto shotgun, 10.9 rounds of 40cal ammo fit in the mag, which keeps it legal and extends 9mm capacity.
