First Handgun Purchase!!!

So after much deliberation and ideas from the CGN community i have purchased my first hand gun.

i was looking at either a Smith and Wesson M&P9mm or a S&W 686 but once i got to the shop i went in a totally different direction and bought a Baby Desert Eagle. loved the feel of this gun and cant wait to shoot it.

Big thanks to the guys at Al Simmons Gun Shop in Hamilton ON. they were a great help and made the process very painless.

The Jericho was my first handgun! I just wish there were more aftermarket otions for it. And now I know I'm not a fan of slide mounted safeties/decockers.

what didnt you like about the decocker?

Have one in .45 ACP..... Good choice.

Need to add a Tavor to go along with it.

Nice choice, solid build and nice trigger out of the box.

Love my stainless Jericho in 9mm. It just feels right. And the slide mounted decocker hasn't really bothered me.

I just picked up a Jericho too. My ATT came in and I got it on the weekend.

I'm not sure how I feel about the slide safety yet. I'm wondering if it'll loosen up a little with more use, otherwise it's a little hard to disengage. Although I'm used to a gun that doesn't have a safety and has a heavy DA only trigger as it's "safety feature." I must say it's great to have a nice trigger like on the Jericho.

Good choice. I went for the M&P.. I hate it, was going to trade it in on a baby eagle but was 5min late and it sold..

what didnt you like about the decocker?

It does what it's supposed to, I just would have preferred it on the frame instead of the slide.

Congrats on your purchase. I preceded the m&p myself so that's what I got.

Held the M&P 9mm also at the shop but just couldnt beat the solid, heavy feel of the Jericho.
