I am in the market for a new trigger group on my 10/22. I would love a Kidd but have not received any responses back from Fabsports or Jo Brook. Looking at my other options now and it looks like the Timney and the Hornet Products are both well regarded. Here are the two I am looking at:

Is the Timney worth the extra money and if so, why? If I go with the Hornet would I regret it later? I've tried searching but it seems like Kidd is the be all and end all of aftermarket 10/22 parts...

Timney is a good trigger assembly, I've got a couple. I don't really care for the shape of the trigger or for the extended mag release, which is too easy to release accidentally. However, they have the big advantage of being available in Canada. I personally prefer the Volquartsen, available from Brownells if you're willing to do the export permit paperwork.
