little help before I return product

Hey guys
I must be doing something wrong...
I purchased a Pursuit X1 red dot scope from basspro yesterday and today went out to the back and through about 200 rounds out of my ruger 10/22 with my new ATI stock ...for some reason I can't see either colour dot.
anyone here have a Pursuit X1 red dot scope and use during the day? when Im inside the dot shows fine but as soon as I'm outside nothing..just looking through the glass lense at my target .
on saturday I'm going back to bass pro if I can't get this to work...

If it's bright out, they are sometimes impossible to see depending on the quality of the unit itself.

Exactly right....low to medium quality red dots are horrible to see on a sunny day.
Take it back and get a decent scope.
You'll be MUCH happier.

done deal...on sat I'll return it..
so then
since I installed a ATI stock what do you guys think would be a great add on for sights ..?

Of the more affordable models. The Bushnell TRS25 is your est bang for the buck before getting into to 400$+ units

is therr any combat tach sights that don't have the red dot?
I'd like to be able to have the small scope type look but no dot..would that even be possible?
iron sight combo would be perfect

oh yea and I'm looking for a muzzle break aswell to order online any of you ordered and installed one yet I guess it will have to fit with the front sight and or replacememt front sight
