In law just picked up a savage 99c 7mm-08. Know it's one of the rarer cals in this rifle but have no idea of potential value. Know it's hard to estimate but say 80-90% condition. Hunted with etc. Any general idea of value would be helpful.

Thank you

one million dollars, for sure! Rare, you're not kidding! One here for $1500.

My advice would be to avoid the U.S. sites as they are often inaccurate for the Canadian market. Savage 1899s for example are way overpriced in the US. Condition is very important as well and the difference between 80% and 90% could be substantial. That sure is a nice find though and I'm sure somebody will be along with an accurate Canadian pricing.

Do you still have it Looky? The gun I mean.

Devastating charm..........yoooobetcha.
Me gewd looks..................yup.
The Savage was bought for one of my hunting buddies wife.
I may see if I can do a trade for something to get it back.
He has a son of almost hunting age and not sure if the
Savage will work for him.
One of these things that got by me at the time.
But, the idea was to get a new shooter/hunter out there.
Whatever it takes.........I suppose.

Thats the only caliber I don't have in the Savage lever family, exept a 22 H.P. but I've never really had a hankerin for a 22 H.P. and they're really not that hard to find.

The 7mm-08 on the other hand....

A buddy has a 99C in .284 Win.............have seen a 7-08 and .375 Win but the latter with the preferable rotary magazine....Harold
