It has the leupold dot reticle.I just got it off a site member and find the reticle light for my intended use.I like leupold standard duplex or that german #4 reticle.I'm going to take it out this afternoon to my hunting area to see if I can pick up the reticle in the thickets or hardwood but i'm doubtful.I emailed Korth yesterday to check thecost of switching reticles but haven't heard back yet. What reticule is in it now? Might trade you for one with a duplex.

As it stands now,it's useless to me so either i'm going to have to trade it or have the reticle switched.I'll see what Korth has to say.I guess i should have asked what kind of reticle before i bought it.My bad...Thats a $300 scope. Someone else will have to answer your question about the cost but I can't imagine swapping a reticle would be cost effective.
I don't think ill be buying any used optics from the site anymore(regardless of trader rating) because by the time it's all said and done,i'll be into it for close to new cost.
I shipped it out this morning along with a m/o to cover reticle change and return shipping.I'm not happy to say the least!I don't think ill be buying any used optics from the site anymore(regardless of trader rating) because by the time it's all said and done,i'll be into it for close to new cost.
In the interest of civility and not wanting to get banned,i won't tell you what you can do with your opinion but i'll bet you can read my mind from where you're sitting! Not blaming the EE at all.Just saying i probably won't take the chance on a used scope here again. As a matter of fact,i didn't even buy it off the EE.The seller contacted me about it in the optics forum when i posted for opinions on another scope. One look through it and you quickly realize it is useless for hunting anything but maybe a white bed sheet on a close line. Was it my fault for not asking about the reticle?Sure it was.I didn't know they put anything but a duplex in a 2-7 but i sure do now.Having said that, one look through it and it's obvious why he sold it.This is actually the first used scope i ever bought and if i ever do it again,it will likely be one i can physically examine beforehand.CheersThat's a pretty 'drama queen' stance to take, blaming the EE for your lack of thought that went into your purchases.
Add that to that you had an offer of a swap, which would have cost you what? Postage?
Oh yeah. Whining about the cost of sending it to Korth. Lame. Your choice. Try to remember THAT.
Maybe the appropriate phrase here is "Suck it up, Buttercup!". You bought a scope without asking what reticle it had in it. Won't do that again, will you? But it's all the fault of the EE. Yeesh.
On the bright side, that's one less guy out there looking for stuff I might want!
Cheers

First used scope i ever bought.First thing i ever bought off here actually.I've bought and sold things before in person and i have bouht a lot off of ebay(luckily i only got burnt once but it was not for a whole lot of money).I have taken interest in a few guns in the exchange but the ones that are priced sanely are gone very fast.Couple of friends of mine have bought and sold things in the exchange. One has been burnt a few times but he has made a lot of purchases. When ever i sell something i offer full disclosure of everything,IE,condition and why i am selling it and that's all i expect in return. The guy i bugh thi from had just obtained a rifle with this scope and told me he didn't need the scope. In reality,he couldn't use it and decided to cut his losses. How many did you buy with ZERO feedback?
I had no firm offer of trade. After i descibed the reticle to him, there was no further interest. That's a pretty 'drama queen' stance to take, blaming the EE for your lack of thought that went into your purchases.
