Random Mosin Sniper question

Hello all,

A friend and I were discussing this. Since the scope prevents the use of stripper clips, is it plausible to open the magazine and load all 5 from the bottom to increase your reload time? (im new, no ammo to try )

Maybe. Can't see that loading 5 loose rounds into an inverted rifle then closing the magazine would be any faster that feeding them into the magazine from the top.

I tried this before, turning the rifle upside down,open the floor plate and dump the cardriges in the box but couldn't close the floor plate, possibly because of the cardrige interuptor,the bolt was closed, i didnt try the bolt open but anyways,no time to save at all.
