hk 416 .22

does anyone know of a gun shop that carries the 416 .22.other than dead zombies?suffice it to say i had an unpleasant experience trying to deal with them.thanks
 
Someone was in the process of importing one, not sure how he's making out but do a search and it should pop up. I handled one in Arizona back in Sept and wouldn't mind owning one as well.
 
I seem to recall they are waiting for a FRT number to be assigned.

Edited to add: DLask is selling them. They have a thread on it. Apparently since last time I checked they have the FRT numbers and it's restricted for the rifle and the pistol version.

I imported one through IRunGuns.ca. It's really nice. It is restricted and you're limited to the 10 round model (due to the mags fitting the pistol version). You can get Umarex Colt M4 mags which are high capacity and pretty much identical to the HK416 ones (which are prohibited...how ridiculous is that?). Initially I had an issue with American Eagle cheapy ammo not loading properly from the mags so I switched to CCI and it was fine. Not sure why as they seem identical. Would I buy one again? Yep...just wish we could get the MP5 version...

I thought about it...but the wife cruises through my posts (yes, she's a gun nut...just not as bad as I am) and I haven't told her about the 10/22 G36 clone that came with it...I was saving that for when I ply her with alcohol...

Nope...comes with 1 - 10 round mag. The Umarex Colt mags are unregulated and can be bought (20 and 30 rounders).

It even says to use high velocity rounds (and marked on the outside of the receiver also). I'm guessing std. wouldn't cycle the action reliably (but I haven't tried).

My .22LR conversion kit for my Stag needs HV ammo too. Figured this would be the same. Still waiting for the CFC/BC CFO to approve it.
 
783.00 out the door with 2 colt 30 rnd mags from dlask/deadzombie.i guess if i want it i have to suck it up and deal with them.irunguns 675.00 plus tax to ontario then shipping to the yukon plus gst.a little cheaper and definatly faster to order fom flask.thanks for the help.

What was the problem in the first place?

If you don't want to say that's fine, but most situations can be resolved...sometimes a thicker skin is required in dealings, so long as everything turns out well in the end.

I'm more patient and understanding than I was, dealt with Dlask and e-mail responses were..sparse..but product was excellent, so I'm definitely going to buy more, all the best.
